Reece James Has a Bright Future at Chelsea
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard believes Reece James has great potential and has a bright future at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea won 2-0 over Crystal Palace in the continued match of the English League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (11/09/2019). The Gunners' winning goal was printed by Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic.
In that game, Reece James started and played quite well. He also successfully killed a classmate Wilfried Zaha. Lampard also believes the one-time defender will succeed at Stamford Bridge.
"I have seen many improvements. His pure talent and abilities are there to be seen today. This is just the beginning of the story. There are many more that can be added. "James will be a very big player for this club," Lampard said at Soccerway.
"Right-back will be his favorite position. Whether right back or right side of the three central defenders, that would be his ideal position. When he enters the team, you will see him there, but he does have a natural game where he can play as a midfielder, if needed. "
"At the moment we have good players there who are used to playing there, but James can always do that as his career matures," Lampard added.
Chelsea itself is now ranked third in the English League standings. The Blues just lost on goal difference above it.
