Gerrard is perfect for Klopp at Liverpool

Krakow - There are times when Juergen Klopp will leave Liverpool. If this happens, Steven Gerrard is considered the most able to replace him.

Klopp recently announced plans to retire after his contract at Liverpool three years ago. Because Klopp claimed to want to rest because in 2022, he got eight years of training for the Reds.

In addition, Klopp really wanted to rest after training at Borussia Dortmund which ended in 2015. However, after only three months of rest, Liverpool called him, which has kept him relatively undisturbed since 2008.

The loss of Klopp would certainly be detrimental to Liverpool because he clicked on it with his team and supporters. Klopp has awarded the UEFA Champions League trophy and European Super Cup and the English Premier League final this season.

Finding a replacement for Klopp is not an easy task because Liverpool have competitors for quality managers. If there is someone who deserves to replace Klopp, it's Gerrard.

Gerrard is a living Liverpool legend and has spent his entire life at the club. Gerrard trained Rangers and that will be a lesson before becoming director of the Red.

"I recently went to Liverpool, it's no secret, it was Steven and the only candidate to replace Klopp when he decided to leave Anfield," former Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek told Przeglad Sportowy, quoted by Sky Sports.

"Everyone knows that sooner or later the captain of the legend will return," he continued.

"I have been with Steven for a long time at Liverpool, and I admit he was surprised to be a manager soon after retiring."

"But he is ideal for that because he is a great leader and captain, he guides us brilliantly in the dressing room," he explained.

Gerrard has coached Rangers since June 1, 2018, with a record of 41 wins, 20 draws and 10 defeats against 71 matches in all competitions.
