Rui Hachimura Absent at Remaining Two World Cup 2019 Games

Rui Hachimura failed to bring Japan to the second round of the 2019 World Cup. They had to face New Zealand (7 September 2019) and Montenegro (9 September 2019).
Unfortunately, Hachimura himself will not appear in the remaining two matches. Japan has decided to remove it from the field to maintain health. They want to make workload arrangements or what is commonly called load management.

Japan is working with the Washington Wizards, the Hachimura club of the NBA, for this purpose. They don't want players to be overloaded with matches at the World Cup. Especially considering Hachimura's long journey that had just gone through various activities, such as the NCAA, NBA Draft, and NBA Summer League.

This activity certainly consumed Hachimura's energy. He even experienced fatigue in his legs. His knees are uncomfortable.

"While everyone hopes that Rui finishes the World Cup with Japan, the Wizards and Japan Basketball think it better for Rui not to play in the last two matches and give him a short break before starting the NBA training camp with the Wizards which starts in just three weeks," the Basketball Association said. Japan (JBA) in its official statement posted on NBA.com.

Nevertheless, Wizards and JBA will continue to work together for long-term development. They want to grow Rui's talent in the NBA while asking him to take part in the 2020 Olympics. Because Japan will host next year.

Meanwhile, Hachimura accepted all the decisions. Plus, that's for himself. He said he would continue to trust the Witch and JBA.

"I like the Japanese team, this is a difficult decision for magicians, Japanese Basketball and myself," Hachimura said. "I am still learning how to look after my body and I believe the Japanese Wizards and Basketball Basketball do everything they can to help me become the best for the NBA and the 2020 Olympics."

After that, Hachimura will return to the Witch's lap to undergo a medical examination. They want to make sure the players are working well. The training camp will start in about a month. While the 2019-2020 NBA starts in October. Hachimura must be physically ready.
