At the end of the Liverpool era, Klopp wanted a break of one year.

Juergen Klopp enters his fifth season with Liverpool. When his time with "The Red" ended, the German wanted to rest for a year.

Klopp arrived at Liverpool in October 2015. So far he has offered titles in the Champions League and European Super Cup.

His contract with the Merseyside team is valid until 2022. The manager, 52, said he would rest if the period at Liverpool ended.

He had previously been on leave for three months when he separated from Borussia Dortmund. Until then, Liverpool have arrived.

"I have energy, but I have a problem, I can't work a little, I can't do everything or nothing," Klopp told Kicker, quoted by the Guardian.

"When I decide I can't do it, I will have a one-year break and after this year a decision must be made."

"But the opportunity is so great that my energy level will return completely and then I can do my work in my own way," he added.
