Being Yamaha's Top Rider is a Good Sign for Maverick Vinales




Silverstone - Maverick Vinales temporarily became the best Yamaha racer in the 2019 MotoGP. The Spaniard said that was a good sign.

In British MotoGP, Vinales won the podium. The 24-year-old is third ahead of teammate Valentino Rossi, who is second.


Vinales also overtook Rossi in the drivers' standings after the British MotoGP. He is now fifth in the MotoGP ranking with 118 points.





Vinales collection points two points ahead of Rossi. Doctors occupy the sixth position of the rider's ranking.

"If I don't win, I will never be fully satisfied," Vinales told GP One.

"But being the best at Yamaha in both races and in the standings is a good sign and being the best has always been my goal and can still reach the podium," he added.

Vinales won the 2019 MotoGP race. He became the leader in the Dutch MotoGP race.
