Stade Johan Cruyff, Stade Anyar de Barcelone

Barcelona - Barcelona has a new stadium which is the seat of team B. The stadium is called Johan Cruyff as a form of devotion to the Dutch legend.

Barcelona inaugurates the Johan Cruyff stadium Tuesday (08/27/2019), Spanish time. The stadium will replace Mini Estadi as the seat of the Barca B team and the Catalunya women's club.

This 6,000-seat stadium is dedicated to Cruyff. The man from the Netherlands strengthened the Blaugrana during the 1973-1978 season. He then briefly coached Barcelona in the 1988-1996 range. When he was a coach, Cruyff was seen as the originator of the philosophy of El Barca, which is so deeply rooted up to now, what is "tiki-taka".

Previously, Barcelona had also built a statue of Cruyff in front of the Camp Nou stadium. This statue was inaugurated on Monday (6/26/209).

At the inauguration of the Johan Cruyff stadium, several Barcelona players and former players were present. Players include Lionel Messi, Gerrard Pique and Sergio Busquets. Carles Puyol, Eric Abidal and Patrick Kluivert represented the former players who took part in this event.

Quoted on the official website of Barcelona, the Johan Cruyff stadium has excellent facilities: the stadium is equipped with LED lighting and two video boards.

The Johan Cruyff Stadium is part of an ambitious Barcelona project called Espai Barca. This project aims to develop and integrate Barcelona's facilities.
