Arriving in Italy, Ribery is one step away from joining Fiorentina
Florence - Franck Ribéry is very close to the Fiorentina uniform. The French winger has arrived in Italy to complete his steps.
Ribery rumors at Fiorentina exploded in the past week. Until the 36-year-old player landed in Florence on Wednesday (08/21/2019).
Upon arrival at the Peretola airport, Ribery was immediately greeted by fans and with a Fiorentina scarf. He also revealed the detention process at La Viola.
"I am happy here, also my family, I spoke with Fiorentina a week ago, with [Luca] Toni too, and he said that Fiorentina is a big club and that the city is beautiful," Ribery said, reported by Calcio Mercato.
"I'm happy because I like the language, I don't speak fluently, but 'go bon cosi [that's good],'" he explained.
Ribery left Bayern Munich for a free transfer this summer. He has played in Germany for 12 years with a record 124 goals in 425 matches with Die Roten. He has also offered 9 titles in the Bundesliga and one time in the Champions League.
