The new symbol in the 2019/20 Italian Jersey League players
A number of players wear jerseys with new badges in the 2019/20 Italian League. Why is it different from other players?
Nicola Zaniolo (AS Roma), Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli), Fabio Quagliarella (Sampdoria) and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio) both wear new badges on their shirts, seen in the first week.
Badges are blue and yellow and are usually placed between the club logo and the garment sponsor.
Apparently, the badge is only handed over to a handful of players. They are the winners of the Serie A award for goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, top attackers, and the best players and the best young players.
Zaniolo was chosen as the best young player, Koulibaly as the best defender, Milinkovic-Savic as the best midfielder and Quagliarella as the best striker
However, Cristiano Ronaldo, chosen as the best player of the 2018/19 season, chose not to wear a badge. The A series authorities have also released the winner, whether they want to use it or not.
