MotoGP observers suspect Marc Marquez has not signed a contract with Honda
MotoGP observers, Carlo Pernat, suspect Marc Marquez has never signed a contract extension with Honda.
The Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, was in action during the 2020 MotoGP preseason test in Sepang, Malaysia, during Friday-Sunday (7-9 / 2/2020).
The eight-time world championship contract, Marc Marquez, with Repsol Honda in MotoGP will end at the end of 2020.
Ducati is reportedly aiming for a rider nicknamed The Baby Alien to replace one of Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Dovizioso.
Honda stated several times that they intended to hold Marquez in their garage for as long as possible.
However, the absence of signs of contract extension raises doubts regarding Marquez's commitment to Repsol Honda.
Marquez and Honda's situation made MotoGP observers, Carlo Pernat, join in speaking up.
"I look forward to announcing a new two-year contract with Marc Marquez when the team launches."
"But that didn't happen and I also saw a rather strange press conference with [Honda Manager] Puig."

"I don't know if Puig realized that without Marquez, Honda would only be fourth or fifth."
"In addition, his sister's contract is only one year, so I do not expect Ducati will try hard to get Marquez after losing [Maverick] Vinales," he added.
Marc Marquez will be performing with his younger brother, Alex Marquez, at Repsol Honda in MotoGP 2020.
Just like his brother, Alex Marquez is also only under contract until the end of the 2020 season with the manufacturer from Tokyo.
