Luis Suarez's injury makes Ansu Fati reenter the Barcelona first team.
This certainly raises speculation that Barcelona will have a new trio of attack lines namely Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, and Ansu Fati.
This trio has gone down together when Barcelona beat Levante by a score of 2-1 on Monday (2/2/2020).
But the same thing is not seen in the Spanish League match against Real Betis.
Barcelona coach, Quique Setien, only dropped Messi and Griezmann as a starter.
Fati was not even given a chance to play and just sat on the bench.
Setien is called deliberately not lowering Fati in this fight.
New Trio Barcelona
Setien is well aware that his team is currently experiencing a front-line crisis.
Besides Suarez, Barcelona also lost Ousmane Dembele until the end of the season.
For this reason, Setien does not want to play Fati too often for fear that the young striker will suffer an injury.
Barcelona does have the opportunity to bring in a new striker because one of their squad members has a long injury.
But they still have to wait for permission from the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
While the permits have not yet come down, Barcelona did not want to take the risk to reduce Ansu Fati more often.
