Alessandro Del Piero, believes Pep Guardiola's destiny is to train the Old Lady in the Italian League.
Manchester City must accept a ban on playing in all European level competitions, including the Champions League, for two seasons by UEFA.
The defending English champions were found guilty of serious violations of the club's UEFA and Financial Fair Play (FFP) licensing rules.
After the shocking news came out, football observers speculated that a number of City stars would leave Etihad, including the coach, Pep Guardiola.
Many rumors linking Pep Guardiola will be anchored to Italy.
Juventus is widely reported to be the main goal of the 49-year-old coach.
The Juventus legend, Alessandro Del Piero, revealed that Guardiola's next destination was Italy.
The ex-Old Lady captain believes that Pep Guardiola's destiny is to train his former club.
"In Italy rumors have circulated that the coach and many City players will leave the club," Del Piero said.
"Every football club thinks they can steal something from Manchester City.
"Last summer there was a lot of talk that he (Pep) would come to Juventus and that could still happen.
"All the clubs in the world will love him as a coach and I would love to see Pep in Italy.
"He won in Spain, Germany and England. If we follow that path I think it might be his destiny to go to Juve," he concluded.
Regardless of the punishment received, Man City officials believe that Guardiola and his players remain committed to being loyal to the club.
The Catalan coach is reportedly ready to honor the agreement until his contract at Etihad is completed, even if the appeal submitted by the City to the Arbitration Court (CAS) fails.
