Once fit, Coutinho will make a difference at Bayern

Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard acknowledged that Philippe Coutinho's condition was not optimal. He thought that Coutinho would have a big impact on Bayern if he would be fit later.

Coutinho loaned Barcelona to Bayern on the market last summer. The 27-year-old joined Bayern after strengthening the Brazilian national team in the Copa America.

So far, Coutinho has only played one match in two matches with Bayern in the German league. He never played in full for 90 minutes.

Pavard said Coutinho needed time to rediscover his best performance. He thought that Coutinho would be a differentiator at Bayern when his health was very good.

"Little witch! She is very wise and has a personality. First, a very good person. And of course, a very good footballer," Pavard told Sky Sport.

"It's very difficult to take the ball, he's not 100%, he might need a match because he joins the team very late."

"But I am sure that within a few weeks we will see Coutinho, a world-class footballer, of course (he can make a difference), I have known him for several years and I am sure he has extraordinary qualities. He will show everyone," he said.
