It is thought that David Luiz can soon learn from mistakes at Arsenal

Per Mertesacker thinks that David Luiz will soon rise and learn from the mistakes he made at the beginning of his entry into Arsenal.

David Luiz was taken over by Arsenal from his neighbors at Chelsea on the last day of the Premier League transfer window last summer. The Brazilian defender was recruited at a cost of £ 8 million.
But David Luiz's early career with Arsenal did not go well. The 32-year-old made several fatal mistakes in matches against Liverpool and Tottenham. Luiz has been the target of criticism from many parties.

Despite an unconvincing start, Mertesacker thinks that David Luiz will wake up and show a satisfying performance.
"I think he [David Luiz] will learn from his mistakes on the pitch, but he is very comfortable at Arsenal," said Mertesacker, who defended the Gunners from 2011 to 2018, on Sky Sports.

"That's what I saw. That's why we are happy to have it. He brought something different to the team for now. So I think he can learn and improve his level as an Arsenal player," he added.
In addition, Mertesacker, who is now a coach at the Arsenal Academy, also said that the teams owned by Gunner this season are less balanced between the front lines at the back.

"I think we are not balanced at the moment, well, we have some great strikers, but they also have to understand that we have to be compact," Mertesacker said.
"Not only three attackers, we provide offensive threats. But also on this triad, becoming the first line as a defensive unit," he continued.

"So I think we should pay attention to that, whatever your strengths, you also need cohesion to play in the defense of all players," he said.
