Arsenal vs Tottenham: Sharpen your record, right?
Harry Kane, the Tottenham Hotspur striker, has a good record against Arsenal. Can Kane continue tonight?
Kane will spearhead Tottenham during his visit to Arsenal in the English league which will continue at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (01/09/2019), at night. Both teams sought healing after injury in the third week: Tottenham were beaten 0-1 by a shock against Newcastle United, while Arsenal were beaten by Liverpool 1-3.
Kane scored nine goals in nine appearances against the Gunners in the Premier League. The incision made the England striker North London's top scorer after Emmanuel Adebayor (8 goals).
Since his debut in 2014, Kane has only failed once in the Arsenal goal. At that time, Tottenham lost 0-2 to Emirates in the 12th week of the 2017/18 Premier League.
"It's an important match, it's been good for me since my first derby in north London, when I scored a few goals and we won 2-1," Kane was quoted as saying by Mirror.
"This is the expected match, we all look forward to it and hope to continue my good form on Sunday."
Even so, Tottenham struggled to "knock down" Arsenal's cage. Since the 3-2 victory there, Tottenham have not been able to win again in the last eight visits by choosing five defeats.
