Marquez wins MotoGP in Thailand, the Key to the World Champion
Marc Marquez appeared eager to win the MotoGP in Thailand after beating Fabio Quartararo. The victory also locked the MotoGP World Championship title in 2019.
At the racing circuit in Buriram, Sunday (10/6/2010) afternoon local time, Marquez appeared patient and stalking Quartararo who was leading from the start. Vinales finishes three.
Marquez tried to get past the second round, but failed. The experiment was carried out following the new Repsol Honda rider on the final lap.
Defending champion Quartararo finally passed on the last lap. Quartararo tried to restore the top position at the last corner, but failed.
Marquez also insisted to become world champions in Thailand, with four other series, collecting 333 points in the MotoGP standings. Quartararo and Vinales in position 2-3, while Andrea Dovizioso who finished Marquez closest competitor in fourth.

Jack Miller had encountered a problem before he started having to enter the pit area. Quartararo retained his position after starting, followed by Marc Marquez and Maverick Viñales.
In the next position, Andrea Dovizioso, Franco Morbidelli, Joan Mir, Valentino Rossi, Alex Rins and Aleix Espargaró finished 10th.
Mark tried to overtake Quartararo on the straight track at the end of the second half. He succeeded, but the entrance to the bend was too fast and wide. Quartararo heads back.
Quartararo and Mark shot forward and began to open in the second half of Vinales in the fourth round. Meanwhile, Vinales even up to 0.7 second Dovizioso fourth.
Quartararo tried to break away from Marquez, recording the fastest lap on lap five. Marquez answered in the next round, and returned immediately with Quartararo. Vinales could not keep up with the leaders.
Until the seventh lap, Dovizioso, Morbidelli and Rossi finished 4-6.
Quartararo benefits from 0.6 seconds per lap 11. While Rossi slipped two places for eighth, now behind Rins and Mir.
Marquez diluted the difference, but Quartararo's advantage in the final sector was to maintain his position. Vinales began to thin so that the difference was 2.7 seconds during the previous three seconds.
Until lap 14, the next drivers are Dovizioso line, Morbidelli, Rins, Mir, Rossi and Petrucci. Rins Morbidelli passes the next round.
Eight laps remaining, Marquez overshadows Quartararo and waits for an opportunity to overtake. Vinales continues to reduce the difference to 2.2 seconds.
There was no meaningful situation until lap 23, when Mark tried to overtake on the Quartararo straight track. Once again Quartararo defended well inside, while Marquez expanded.
Three other rounds, Marquez continued to press Quartararo. At the last corner of the three laps, the Repsol Honda rider made an aggressive maneuver and hardbraking over Quartararo!
Quartararo refused to surrender and could overtake again but Marquez survived and crossed the finish line in first place. Vinales wins three positions.
Thus, Marquez won the world this season. He finished the eighth title of the world champion of his career.
Outside the top three, the next line of drivers finished the Thai series Dovizioso Rins, Morbidelli, Mir, Rossi, Petrucci, Nakagami, Bagnaia, Crutchlow, P.Espargaro, Miller, Iannone Oliveira, Rabat, Lorenzo Abraham and Syahrin.
