Edwin van der Sar is ready to go to Manchester United

Former Dutch international goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar admitted that this time he was quite ready to return to his former club Manchester United. Previously van der Sar had refused to return to Old Trafford.

The name van der Sar has been reported to have returned to Manchester United and will be undertaking the duties of the athletic director. But he rejected the rumors because they focused on Ajax.

"My first love is Ajax. This club has given a lot to my career. My next love is my last club, Manchester United,

Although eager to return to America, van der Sar admitted that he still needed time to study Ajax. He denied that United were a big club that needed a lot to develop.

"We will see what happens in the future. England is a big club that has a lot of fans. Everyone wants to work in a club like United," added van der Sar.
