Ederson fully supports Alisson as FIFA's best goalkeeper

Ederson Moraes believes that fellow Brazilian Alisson Becker deserves the award as FIFA's best goalkeeper. Especially after successfully being brilliant both with club and country.

Alisson Becker is the goalkeeper who left AS Roma for Liverpool in July 2018. He was immediately successful in his first season at Anfield Stadium. Yes, the 26-year-old goalkeeper has won the Champions League title with a team nicknamed the Reds in the 2018-19 season.

He was named the Champions League's best goalkeeper last season. In addition, Alisson also won the Premier League Gold Glove Cup after recording a record 21 clean sheets in 38 appearances.

He then helped Brazil to win the Copa America stage. He also became one of the three best FIFA candidates with Gianluigi Buffon and Thibaut Courtois.

"In my opinion, we are the top three, but I see that Alisson has a good start, he has a very good performance in the Premier League, won the Champions League, the European Super Cup and very good performance in the Copa America," said Ederson Football, quoted by Football5star.com.

"So I think that whoever wins will be worth it and I am happy that two Brazilian goalkeepers can reach this level," he said.
