Nicol: Liverpool Descendant The l'absent
Liverpool legend Steve Nicol, Mohamed Salah is a very important judge for the Reds. When a player from Egypt is absent, the front line of the red bite is needed.

"Every time you go for some reason and you get original sin as a replacement, there is very high quality," Nicol said at Soccerway.

"Sometimes you can get away with it if it's Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané at the top of the game. But Firmino and Mane are not good enough against Manchester United."

Liverpool drew 1-1 with Manchester United in a Premier League match at Old Trafford last weekend. In the game, the lack of Salah and replaced by Divock Origi.

Without one, don't bite Liverpool's game as usual. There is no dangerous stab from the right which is usually done by players from Egypt.

Liverpool were left behind by a goal, even Marcus Rashford, before finally being rewarded by Adam Lallana at the end of the second half.

"We talked all Firmino and how to connect all lines, but collapsed when the ball was near. The opponents from England were not a good day, but Liverpool had to lose one," Nicol said.

Despite not winning, Liverpool remain at the top of the Premier League standings. The Reds clearly from Manchester City are five points below.
