Zaza Pachulia Delighted to Return to Warriors
Zaza Pachulia decided to retire as a player. However, he will continue his career in the world of basketball. Pachulia returned to the Golden State Warriors, the team that earned him the title.
The Georgian man loved joining the Warriors. He joined as a consultant. His job is to take care of business and team operations so they can work well. He also plays a role in helping players grow.
"It's good to be back," Pachulia said a few days ago, quoted by NBC Sports. "Lots of familiar faces, today is my first day at the office, I'm very happy."
On the first day of work, Pachulia discovered that the Warriors had several potential young players. According to him, the young players are full of motivation. They have a few things to prove next season.
"This will be an interesting year," Pachulia said. "They have a very good line of coaches, one of the best here, and I think coach (Steve) Kerr will be good at using these players."
Pachulia himself first arrived at the Warriors in 2016. He played as a flashlight for two seasons in Kerr custody. Meanwhile, Pachulia managed to help the Warriors win two titles in a row.
The flashlight then moved to the Detroit Pistons. He signed a contract with City Motor's pride team. Pachulia appeared for one season and then decided to retire in 2019.
During his career, Pachulia appeared in 1098 matches. He averaged 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists. The overall percentage of shots reached 46.9%. The overall shooting efficiency is 46.9%. The percentage of direct fires was 54.1%.
Pachulia will now help the Warriors win the title again. He is busy as a consultant. Pachulia will make sure the fighters walk in the right direction.
