Wanting to become a great player at Barca, Messi gave advice to Dembele

BARCELONA - Barcelona captain and superstar Lionel Messi gave a talk to one of his team-mates, Ousmane Dembele, if he wanted to become a great player. Messi asked Dembele to be more professional and increase his level of play.

As we know, Dembele himself officially joined Barca during the 2015 summer transfer period. The Blaugrana management has brought Dembele Borussia Dortmund with a dowry of 125 million euros, around 1,950 billion rubles.

Barca's decision to bring Dembele with exorbitant dowry does have advantages and disadvantages that arise. Many believe that Dembele is not really worthy of respect, because his reputation as a professional footballer has not been truly tested.


What many feared from the progress of Dembele with Barca came true. 22 years showed a failed performance. Dembele also spent more time in the treatment room to heal his wounds.

Even so, Messi said he still had great confidence in Dembele's potential. Although Messi himself admits that there are still a few things that Dembele must leave to become a bigger player.

"I am very confident that he (Dembele) has great potential and can do everything, he is still very young and I think it will be very important for him to raise the level of the game, because all Barcelona fans want to be seen," Messi was quoted by BT Sport as saying. Friday 9/13/2019.

He needs to make changes to become more professional. Hopefully he can show it this season. "In addition, I also hope that he can maintain his fitness and not hurt himself easily," he continued.



"But for a very young player, what Dembele showed really impressed me, although we have to admit that it is very difficult to be a great player with a club like Barcelona," added the Argentine club.
