Martinez prayed for Icardi's success at PSG

Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez hopes his best friend Mauro Icardi will have much success at his new club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

"I have a good relationship with Mauro and we talk a lot," Martinez told Soccerway.

"He wants to stay and talk with the club, he always says that he wants to play, but he is now part of another team, and I wish him every success because, since I arrived in Italy, he has helped me to adapt," added Martinez .

PSG borrowed Icardi from Inter Milan for a season. Rich French clubs also have the opportunity to maintain the status of the bomber at a price of 70 million euros.

This transfer was the culmination of a nervous war between Icardi and Inter Milan's management. Both have had a bad relationship since last season.

Icardi broke down after the captain's withdrawal. The war of words was inevitable, especially between the club and his wife and agent, Wanda Nara. In the end, Inter Milan lost their temper and released the player on loan.

Previously, in the Inter defense, Icardi has scored 124 goals since his match at Sampdoria in 2013. Last season, he scored 11 goals in 29 appearances in the Italian League.
