MU vs Leicester: Red Devils win 1-0

Manchester United finally won again in the English league. While entertaining Leicester City, Manchester United managed to reap maximum results thanks to a 1-0 victory.

MU face Leicester at Old Trafford on Saturday (09/14/2019), the day before. Marcus Rashford emerged as a Red Devils hero with a penalty in the eighth minute.

With this victory, Manchester United finally returned to the grid after three successive defeats. Since beating Chelsea 4-0 in the first week, Manchester United have stopped Wolverhampton and Southampton 1-0 and bent Crystal Palace 1-2.

These additional points bring the Red Devils to third place in the Premier League standings with eight points. The team formed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still two points ahead of Manchester City (2), who will only compete briefly, and seven points from Liverpool at the top.

A violation of Daniel James resulted in a free kick for Manchester United in the first minute. Amdreas Pereira's execution led to the goal, but Kasper Schmeichel can put the ball into the razor.

Victor Lindelof's failure threatened the MU goal to allow James Maddison to control the ball to equalize with a horizontal kick. David de Gea is always ready to be arrested.

In the seventh minute, the referee gave the spot in the penalty area in Leicester after Caglar Soyuncu made a mistake on Marcus Rashford. Rashford himself executed the penalty by sending Schmeichel in the wrong direction. MU winning 1-0 against Leicester in the eighth minute.

After that, Manchester United dominated the ball even though it was impossible to create another opportunity. Leicester provided a significant opportunity in the 30th minute when Ben Chilwell fired a shot from the edge, pushed by De Gea.

Entering the last minute of the first half, Leicester added to the pressure. De Gea rescued a rescue operation to stem a Hamza Choudury kick that had been built on the left side of the MU defense.

After restarting, MU began to press again. James attacks from the left before firing, although the ball still bounces the Leicester crossbar.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has Juan Mata sodoran on the right side, followed by a left-footed shot. Schmeichel fell to ward off, the ball was welcomed by Pereira with a shot from the edge of the penalty area but still hovering over the goal.

Leiceste came out of pressure. The Leicester attack forced MU to break Yoeri Tielemans to allow Leicester to get a free kick in a dangerous position. Maddison's kick does not endanger the MU goal.

MU almost created his second goal in the 83rd minute. In the free kick resulting from a foul on Scott McTominay, Rashford fired a shot at Schmeichel's post.

Leicester is running out of time. Schmeichel came to help with the attack, but was annoyed by Ashley Young in injury time. Leicester almost scored when Wilfried Ndidi fired from inside the box, but the width was narrow.

A minor concussion between the two teams came after Ndidi broke McTominay in the final minutes of the match. Encouraging one another can occur even if the referee can be calmed down afterwards.

No additional goals are made in the remaining time of the match. Score 1-0 to win Manchester United.
