Marco Giampaolo: More experienced Inter player
Two goals from Inter Milan came from Marcelo Brozović's legs and Lukaku's head. After the match, Giampaolo admitted that there was a big gap apart from his Inter Milan team. The first is a matter of thought and experience.
"We started the game doubtfully. Meanwhile, Inter have matured in the development of the game system. They really showed the maturity of experience," he said after the match as quoted by Italian Football.
This defeat made AC Milan fail to move closer to the lead. The Rossoneri are still scattered in ninth place in the standings with six points. While Inter raced away, leaving their rivals on top with 12 points from four matches.
After giving a brief fight in the first round, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma collapsed in the second half. Brozovic's goal opened the way to Inter Milan for more comfortable control of the game.
"Does the goal really score to break the deadlock. We respond with emotion when it is less concentrated and play carelessly. Our differences are mental and experience. Another question, I don't think so differently," said the former Sampdoria coach.
