'Madrid Defenders Move Alone'

Real Madrid faltered after starting the season with a victory. Los Blancos is considered to need to tidy up the defense again.
Madrid started the season with a 3-1 win over Celta Vigo. But then Zinedine Zidane's squad was balanced in the next two parties: 1-1 against Real Valladolid and 2-2 against Villarreal.
Against Valladolid, Madrid scored in the 82nd minute but failed to maintain it until conceded six minutes later. Meanwhile, when facing Villarreal, Gareth Bale et al left behind twice.

Goals from Gerard Moreno and Moi Gomez answered Bale twice.

Former Madrid coach and coach Jorge Valdano assessed Zidane's defense sector needs to be improved. At present the Los Merengues defenders do not work as a single unit so they are easily penetrated.
"One of Madrid's problems is defense, because everything moves according to their own desires and it makes them lose their positions," Valdano said.

"As the game progressed, the team seemed to be distracted and that's when all the order was lost," added the man who won three Spanish League titles with Madrid as the player and coach.
