Kosovo goalkeeper makes special note when lost to England
Kosovo national team failed to continue the great race against England in the 2020 European Cup qualifiers, Wednesday (11/09/2019) early morning hrs. They lost 3-5 and completed a record 15 matches unbeaten. However, goalkeeper Arijanet Muric can still be proud.
In the match at Wembley Stadium, Arijanet Muric's goal was scored by five goals for the Three Lions. All in the first round. However, the 20-year-old goalkeeper made a brilliant move.
This brilliant action occurred when the goalkeeper who was loaned to Manchester City in Nottingham Forest was sentenced by Harry Kane in the 65th minute. He carefully and skillfully faces the execution of Tottenham Hotspur striker.
The rescue was not very meaningful for the Kosovo national team. However, this does not apply to Arijanet Muric. The reason is that thwarting Harry Kane's punishment is a rare thing. Previously, the England striker always managed to score from the white point 14 times.
The last time Harry Kane missed a penalty was on February 4, 2018. At that time, when Tottenham Hotspur faced Liverpool in the Premier League, he had not defeated Loris Karius on the field. This failure forced his club to be satisfied with a 2-2 draw.
Harry Kane is a reliable penalty taker throughout his work on the professional soccer scene. So far, he has scored 33 goals in 40 executions under penalty pressure. In addition to Arijanet Muric and Loris Karius, five other goalkeepers who fired shots at goal were Fraser Forster, Volkan Babacan, Adrian San Miguel, Pulpo Romero and Jamie McDonald.
