Front Line Blunted, Barca also failed to win

Pamplona - The gathering of the Barcelona front lines was the reason they failed to win at the Osasuna base. This was revealed by Azulgrana coach, Ernesto Valverde.

Barcelona is only able to draw 2-2 when they travel to the Osasuna headquarters, Estadio El Sadar, Saturday (8/31/2019). In the third week of La Liga match, the Blaugrana fell behind first through a quick goal by Roberto Torres.

They were clearly less effective than their opponent Osasuna. The team from Pamplona carried out 10 trials with five on target. Even though they only controlled the ball by 25 percent.

"We did not look good at all, we were terrible," Valverde was quoted as saying. from Marca.

"They pressed and we could not enter their penalty box. We had a few chances, but they were more solid and we could not threaten their goal," he continued.

"We dominated the game in the second half and we managed to turn things around. We should be able to win."

"But they then pressed us and got a penalty. We can't keep on losing points. We have to prove we can be better on the pitch and keep on attacking."

A draw at Osasuna's headquarters made Barcelona start the league this season without convincing. Of the three weeks that have passed, they only won one victory. Los Cules is now in seventh position in the La Liga standings with four points.
