Falcao rejoint Galatasaray

Istanbul - Radamel Falcao has changed his club from AS Monaco to Galatasaray. The Colombian striker has been engaged until the end of the 2021/2022 season.

Falcao's contract in Monaco will actually expire at the end of this season. However, the Turkish club managed to reach an agreement to bring Falcao free.

During the three seasons at Galatasaray, Falcao will receive a salary of 5 million euros, the equivalent of 78 billion rupees. If leveled up, the former Manchester United striker will receive an allowance of 26 billion rupees per year.

"An agreement was reached with Radamel Falcao Garcia Zarate and his club, AS Monaco, to transfer players for free," Galatasaray said in a statement.

"According to the agreement, players will receive 5 million euros for 3 seasons from the 2019 season to 2020."

Falcao's career in football began to fade. He was not free from an ACL injury in January 2014, forcing him to miss the 2014 World Cup.

Monaco loaned Falcao to Manchester United and recovered. However, during the loan period, Falcao did not shine until he returned to Monaco.
