Defender Sergio Ramos is in the Top 10 of the Spanish national team's Top Score

Sergio Ramos scored a goal when the Spanish national team beat Romania in the 2020 European Cup Qualifiers. The 33-year-old defender is now in the top 10 of the Matador Team's top score.

Ramos opened the first goal of Spain's victory over Romania 2-1 at the Arena Nationala, Bucharest, Friday (6/9/2019) early morning hrs. The Real Madrid captain scored a penalty in the 28th minute.

He can fool Ciprian Deac and bring his team ahead first. Spain then had a chance to add a goal through Paco Alcacer, and only able to be replied once by Romania through the action of Florin Andone.
One goal that adds to the coffers of Ramos goals at international level. He now has 21 goals for the Spanish national team.

Ramos is now in the top 10 of Spain's top scorer. His goal record is equivalent to that of Michel, a former Madrid striker. The Spanish top scorer is still held by David Villa with 59 goals.

In addition to his added goal record, Ramos now has 165 caps in La Furia Roja uniform. He only left two matches, to match the most caps owned by Iker Casillas.
