Chelsea announce three surprises in the Champions League squad

Chelsea finally returned to the Champions League competition and had just announced the composition of their team for the event, with three surprises.

Chelsea, like other teams, also have two different teams in this event, namely Team A and Team B. Each club can register a maximum of 25 players, two of which must be in the position of goalkeeper.

There are a minimum of eight places reserved exclusively for 'locally trained players'. If a club has fewer than eight local players on its team, then the maximum number of players on List A will decrease.

As for local players who are trained locally, they are players who are trained by the club and are in the age range of 15 to 21 years, or players who are trained associations who have been in other clubs in the same association for three years, with ages ranging from 15 to 21 year.

No club has more than four players trained per association among the eight 'local' candidates on Team A's list.

A player can be added to Team B's roster if he was born on January 1, 1998 or newer. In addition, he also has the right to play at the club for two years without interruption since he was 15 years old. And, the three Chelsea players on the list are Billy Gilmour, Marc Guehi and George McEachran.
