Zarco: I will not end my career as a racing driver

Johann Zarco has decided to part from KTM Red Bull at the end of the season. Zarco, which should be bound by contracts until MotoGP 2020, has chosen to end the collaboration with the Austrian manufacturer.

One reason is that French passport drivers struggle to adapt to KTM RC-16 motorcycles. In addition, relations between Zarco and KTM have also been strained since the middle of last season.

Zarco's decision to separate from KTM also raises questions about its future in the main MotoGP category. According to rumors, the driver will be one of the drivers of the other manufacturer's team.

However, Zarco who knew this immediately denied it. Although the most probable condition at this time is to become a racer, he admitted that he still has strong ambitions to compete with other racers on the track.

"I think for the builder, the position of the racer might be quite right at the moment, but obviously I will not finish my career as a racer, I want to compete again on the track.
