Wenger: MU pas un candidat candidat
Arsene Wenger dropped Manchester United from the English League Championship competition. MU team filled with young players is not convincing for Wenger.
Manchester United host the 2019/2020 season with many young players in his team. Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Mason Greenwood became the names of young people who attracted attention at the start of the season.
Although considered to have many potential players, MU did not start the season smoothly. After four matches in the Premier League, the landing team Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has only five points in victory, two draws and one defeat.
Wenger acknowledged that MU has a potential team. But the former Arsenal manager was not convinced that Manchester United's young players could bring his team to compete for the Premier League champions.
"When you see MU, they are examples of potential," Wenger told BeIN Sports.
"But they haven't found a community yet, maybe these players aren't mature enough to support teamwork like Man United."
"It's a big question mark, you think something is happening, but it's not ready, and when you see them playing, they are not champions," Wenger said.
"Whether they will emulate what Giggs, Scholes, Beckham have been doing for several years, personally I'm not sure," he added.
