Want to have a goal machine, Frank Lampard can count on this miracle of Chelsea
Frank Lampard is likely to consider Mason Mount as Chelsea's next goal machine, following comments from England national team star Declan Rice.
Mason Mount, who strengthened Chelsea after being loaned to Derby County last season, scored two goals in four appearances in the 2019/20 Premier League.
These goals can improve over time because Mount has the best score midfielder talent in his generation.
This is recognized by his teammate from the English national team, Declan Rice. Rice said the 20-year-old midfielder had the ability to tear opponent's defenses in the box and score goals at the right time.
"I've said that before, he (the mount) can score in every game if he wants," Rice said, quoted on the Caughoffside soccer website.
"Looking at his position, I can say that he trained with Frank (Lampard) and they worked very well together as the second striker, something Lampard has done," he continued.
In this case, Declan Rice compared the figure of Mount with Lampard while strengthening the Blues during his career. Both players have a very neat game in the penalty area.
Mason Mount, of course, can be a character capable of increasing the strength of Chelsea's attack on the front lines, especially since the departure of Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Alvaro Morata and Gonzalo Higuain.
In addition, Lampard for the 2019/20 season relies on a 4-2-3-1 formation, where Mount will be a mainstay of Chelsea's midfield.
