Want to be as sharp as Ronaldo, this is what Marcus Rashford has to do

Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen spoke about the development of Marcus Rashford at Manchester United. He thinks that an attacker can be as good as Cristiano Ronaldo if he starts to change the position of his game.

Rashford himself is one of the miracles that managed to penetrate United's first team. It was orbited for the first time by Louis van Gaal in 2016.

Rashford currently plays an important role for United. At the age of 21, he was trusted.

Meulensteen thinks Rashford can be a great player if he starts to find consistency in his game. "Marcus can create a fantastic player reputation if he really wants it," Meulensteen told Mirror.

Start playing in the middle

Meulensteen believes that one of Rashford's keys can be a reliable goal scorer when he can play more to the middle.

"Rashford mostly plays in attack positions on the wing at the moment, as did Cristiano at the beginning of his career with United."

"But to score a goal, he has to be more central, because this position gives him the opportunity to score better."

In development

Meulensteen also felt that Rashford was on track to become a reliable attacker like Ronaldo.

He thinks Olle Gunnar Solskjaer coached him as a dangerous striker for United.

"When he was at United, Ronaldo learned a lot about his work, and I think Olle Gunnar Solskjaer also coached Rashford to do the same thing as Cristiano." he said.

Neat performance

Over the past four matches, Rashford has shown quite a smooth performance on United's offensive lines.

He scored two goals for the Red Devils after four matches.
