Underestimating Ronaldo and Ex Inter provides a surprising prediction for Lukaku

Andy van der Meyde, former Ajax Amsterdam soccer player, Inter Milan, Everton and PSV, expressed surprising views about Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo.

"We often meet and discuss. Lukaku is a fan of Italian football and I think he was created to play in this league (Italian Serie A)," Van der Meyde was quoted as saying by sports portal Semper Inter.

"He is a strong player and can score many goals, his strength will threaten his opponent's defense, Lukaku is still able to show that he can score, and in my opinion he will score more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo. This year," he concluded.

Although this is a simple opinion, it is possible that Van der Meyde's thought came true. The reason is that the number of goals scored by Ronaldo at Juventus last season was far below the number of goals as he further strengthened Real Madrid.

In addition, Portugal's left wing is also 34 years old, which is actually not a productive age for footballers. That's why Lukaku has the potential to break into Cristiano Ronaldo's goal.
