Tyrone Mings Calls England as 'Another World'

Manager Gareth Southgate made a breakthrough by calling Tyrone Mings to the English national team. Mings was the first player to join the Three Lions team. Southgate is preparing the Aston Villa defender for the 2020 European Cup qualifiers in England against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Mings said accepting the call to join the English national team was a difficult time to forget. "His feelings were truly extraordinary, and I am happy to be able to share happiness with my teammates when I get this information," he said.

In the eyes of the 26-year-old English national team, it is another world. Because Mings did not expect to defend the English national team. "I never thought that when I was working in the credit department, playing in the national team was one of life's goals," he said.

Mings's career as a soccer player is quite unique. He didn't start at the junior level like most players on the national team. The first club he visited was not the main caste of English football.

He played part-time at a non-league club, Chippenham, in 2012. His professional match began at Ipswich. From there, slowly, the ability to care for round skin began to attract attention. Mings then moved to Bournemouth and played five seasons. In five seasons, he only had the chance to play 17 times.

Now the 196 cm tall defends Aston Villa. With his new club, Mings has been trusted to play four times since the 2019/2020 season in the English League. His total appearance in the Premier League only touched 21 matches.
