Thiago Silva Grateful Neymar Stays at Paris Saint-Germain
Neymar scored against Colombia on his return, and Silva as PSG captain said he was happy to get it back.Thiago Silva, captain of Paris Saint-Germain, admitted that he was relieved to see Neymar remain in his club. He revealed this after seeing his colleague score his return to Brazil on Saturday (7/9), WIB morning.
Neymar played his first match since June, leveling the score 2-2 in a trial match against Colombia in Miami, the forward who completed assists, Dani Alves.
Brazil will play another test match against Peru on Wednesday (11/9) the next morning, before Neymar is forced to strengthen PSG.
About Neymar, Silva said, "Thank God he survived," he said after the match.
"We are very happy that he survived because we had a very big goal, everyone knows it's the Champions League.
"It's clear that we won't be able to achieve our dreams without great players, so if we let Neymar go, it will be a big loss for us.
"After three months out, he shows that he is really a great player."
