The Premier League is still the Best in the World
LaLiga President Javier Tebas acknowledged that the English League was better. Even though there hasn't been a Ballon d'Or winner there for a long time.
The Spanish league's inexorience is undeniably fading a little after Cristiano Ronaldo's move from Real Madrid to Juventus in the summer of 2018. However, the attraction is still there because it still has Lionel Messi as Barcelona superstar.
Fantastic competition between Messi and Ronaldo was followed by Ballon d'Or which was dominated by both footballers. Messi and Ronaldo each won five trophies from 2008 to 2017.
"To be honest, I originally thought that leaving would have a greater impact. After all I would prefer the Spanish League with Ronaldo than not," Tebas told Canal 11, Marca was quoted as saying.
"The Premier League has not had Ballon d'Or winners for years, but it still remains the best league in the world. It is a great job at many levels."
Not only Ronaldo, Jose Mourinho provides extra benefits wherever he trains. Although Mourinho is a controversial figure.
"I want to have Cristiano Ronaldo back and for Jose Mourinho to coach the Spanish national team. He is a great coach and a great name to promote our league," Tebas added.
