The demands on Arsenal are too heavy
Legendary Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger tells of North London. He felt he had received too much criticism.
"In the end, my frustration was not having enough time to think about football, maybe because I was in the form of a management model where I had so many things to do, but slowly, if I think about it today, I was attacked from beginning to end." he told beIN SPORTS.
"I was basically attacked by requests that prevented me from concentrating on the most important part of my work"
Wenger arrived at Arsenal in 1996. In 22 years of training with the Gunners, Wenger has won three Premier League titles. He also led London Cannon to win seven FA Cups.
Although his performance was good enough, Wenger never stopped being criticized, especially at the end of his term. He continues to suffer "attacks" from fans to former players themselves.
In the end, Wenger chose to resign in 2018. Since then, his life has become calmer and he has no intention of returning to the bench. Wenger said the criticism he continued to receive, whether it was a transfer or other problem, prevented him from concentrating on training at Arsenal.
Wenger himself is now busy being an expert on television. He often gives his analysis of big match matches in the English league.
