The 5 most expensive players in the Italian Serie A summer transfer market

The summer transfer market of the Italian series A is officially closed on Monday (2/9/2019) at 18:00 local time or on Tuesday (3/9/2019) at 01:00 WIB.

Seconds after the transfer window closes, Italy 2019-20 Series players have a successful goal. AS Roma, for example, got a loan from Arsenal player Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Armenians will receive 3 million euros and will receive a bonus of 100,000 euros. Among a number of new players participating in the Series A competition, five appear as the most expensive Series A purchases on the transfer market this summer. Here are five players:

Romelu Lukaku

The Belgian striker is the highest paid player in the 2019-2020 Serie A summer transfer window. Inter Milan have spent 70 million euros to buy Lukaku from Manchester United.

This value is quite up to the Lukaku article which immediately ignited with Inter Milan. The former Anderlecht player has scored twice in two Inter matches this season.

Matthijs de Ligt

Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt is the second most expensive player in the summer transfer window this season. Juventus spent 68 million euros at Ajax to benefit from Ligt's services.

Unfortunately, unlike Lukaku, Ligt doesn't look good. Even during the pre-season tour, Ligt had his own goals. In his Serie A debut against Napoli, he also received some criticism.

A number of Italian media still consider him stuttering behind Juventus. "He did not play well, he had a bad time with (Hirving) Lozano's goal," said former Ajax player Ronald Koeman, quoted by Sky Skports.

Hirving Lozano

Napoli spent 34 million euros to get Hirving Lozano from PSV Eindhoven. Although Napoli had to lead 3-4 in the first match, Lozano also contributed to the goal, Napoli.

Entered as a substitute and Napoli left three goals, one goal Lozano could change Napoli's hopes of a draw against Juventus. Unfortunately, Kalidou Koulibaly's goal ruined everything.

Kostas Manolas

Napoli, in the transfer market this summer, have also released a cover to be able to get AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas. The Greek player was bought by Naples for 32 million euros. Manolas's performance in Naples remains promising even if the match against Juventus must accept a tight defeat 3-4.

Before defending AS Roma and Napoli, Manolas defender's career began at the Pannaxiakos Academy in 2003. His appearance at Olympiakos in 2012 made him hailed as the best Greek defender.

Rafael Leao

Finally, a Lilles player settled in AC Milan with a group of 32 million euros, Rafael Leao. Bringing the player in the place of attackers has to sacrifice striker André Gomes.

The appearance of the Portuguese in Lille last season is a pseudonym. An army of Nicolas Pepe, Leao managed to record 8 goals in 24 resistance with Lille last season.
