Saga Transfer Neymar to Barcelona Considered Ridiculous

Barcelona's new presidential candidate, Victor Font, regretted the Blaugrana's attitude who was desperately seducing PSG to send Neymar back in the transfer market this summer.

Barca effort to get Neymar extraordinary. Towards the end of the transfer market, they tried everything to seduce PSG: from the money plus player scheme to the loan scheme with permanent purchase obligations.

Even so, in the end this transfer attempt failed. PSG's demands are too high, Barcelona is unable to fulfill, and Neymar remains in Paris.

According to Marca, some Barca supporters actually do not expect Neymar's return, others believe Neymar can help them get the Champions League. Even so, Font still does not agree.

"I do not understand what has been done, or how, or why. I explained last summer that Neymar was just the past, and sent it back only a short-term plan."
Font is convinced that this Neymar purchase attempt is enough to explain the current poor management of Barcelona. Moreover, Neymar left the club in a bad way two years ago.

"This [attempt to repatriate Neymar] is another example of the lack of projects within the club. Barca is ready to offer Ousmane Dembele and I don't know who else. This is ridiculous at an institutional level," continued Font.
