Neymar Only Needs One Goal to Score Ronaldo's Record

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) Brazilian striker Neymar Jr. scored a goal when Brazil faced Colombia in a friendly match which took place in Miami on Saturday (9/9/2019).

This goal made Brazil keep Colombia from playing 2-2. Neymar's goal also marked his return after injury in June. Additional goals also make Neymar almost equal the record of Brazilian legend Ronaldo de Lima.

A goal against Colombia made the former Santos player collect 61 goals from 98 appearances for the Brazilian national team. This score is only 1 goal different from Ronaldo de Lima, who collected 62 goals from 98 appearances.

The former Inter Milan striker scored so many goals in the 1994-2011 period.

Meanwhile, Neymar has scored the number of goals since he debuted with the Brazilian national team in August 2010. The highest score of the all-time Brazilian national team was scored by Pelé with 77 goals carved in 92 matches.

Meanwhile, it is rumored that Neymar will leave PSG. The latest news says that Barcelona's head, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has reopened his voice over the opportunity to bring Neymar in the January transfer window.

"Neymar could not join Barca in January, and Barca's wardrobe did not decide anything," Bartomeu said according to Barca TV.

"Neymar did what he had to do, he told his club about his decision, he did his best, but this year he will play at PSG," Bartomeu said again.
