Nemanja Matic has denied the dispute with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is trying to clarify rumors about his dispute with coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Matic insisted that he was not involved in a fight with Pelath.
Matic is currently experiencing a difficult situation in the United team. He is no longer a major player in the Red Devils, where Solskjaer prefers to play against Scott McTominay to be a tandem to Paul Pogba in the MU midfield.
That situation will make Matic angry at Solskjaer. He even called for a face-to-face meeting with the coach to discuss the situation at United.
Matic insisted he had not fought with the coach. "In the first two or three matches, he [Solskjaer] made sure not to play against me in this team," Matic was quoted as saying by Goal International.
Prove yourself
Matic said he was not happy having to sit on the bench. But he was determined to prove that Solskjaer was wrong because he didn't play often.
"I respect the coach's decision, I work as hard as I can to prove that he made the wrong decision and hope he will bring me back to his place."
"I have no problem with the coach, I don't agree with his decision, but the coach has to determine which team plays."
Already at risk
Matic considers it natural for a player to be forced to sit on the bench. He thought it was his turn to return to United's first team.
"I have had a career in football for a long time and have played almost every game in every club that I have strengthened in the last 10 years."
"In order for me to play, other players have to sit on the bench, and that's what happened to me, the coach really has to play against a team that can win the title. It will be responsible."
Start playing
Matic himself finally returned to playing in the Manchester United team this weekend.
He registered as a substitute when United were forced to draw by Southampton with a score of 1-1.
