Napoli President: Icardi goes to the French League to stand out

Napoli admitted he was trying to recruit Mauro Icardi, but the Argentine striker chose Paris Saint-Germain. The President of Naples sneered against the Icardi movement.

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis said he had submitted a proposal to Inter worth 65 million euros, with a salary of around 12 million euros per year for Icardi. But the offer did not produce an agreement.

Icardi finally accepted PSG's proposal as a player who was ready for the season. Parisians have the opportunity to retain players aged 26 for 70 million euros.
