Milan Skriniar visé par Manchester City, l'Inter Milan Say No.

Manchester City's efforts to bring Milan Skriniar in January will fail. Inter Milan, as the owner of the defender, rejected an offer recently made by The Citizens.

Pep Guardiola began looking for the right candidate for his defense. One of the names included in the target is Inter Milan defender, Milan Skriniar.

But Tuttosport reports that City are struggling to get the defender's autograph. Because Inter Milan refused his offer to defend the Slovak national team.

Key player

According to the report, Inter Milan were ordered by Antonio Conte to reject City's offer.

In Conté's eyes, Skriniar was a key player in his defense. He thinks the 24-year-old defender will be an important figure in his team's playing system.

For this reason, he is not ready to let such important players go, knowing that they are aiming for a minimum return to the Champions League again next season.


Expensive price

The city itself will also have difficulty using the Skriniar transfer fee in January.

A few months ago, Skriniar only signed his new contract with Nerrazurri. The defender has a contract until 2023.

City must at least prepare around 90 million euros to persuade Inter Milan to release the defender.


Limited options

City currently suffer from a lack of central defenders following the Aymeric Laporte injury.
