Mertens Glad Lukaku Came to Serie

Romelu Lukaku finally came to Italy by joining Inter Milan. Napoli star Dries Mertens was very pleased with this.
Lukaku was not included in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans at Manchester United this season. The Belgian bomber finally had to leave Old Trafford.
The former Everton player then moved to Inter Milan in the transfer market this summer. La Beneamata redeemed Lukaku at a cost of 80 million euros.
Lukaku appeared immediately impressive for his new club. He scored two goals in two Serie A matches.

Lukaku's arrival in Serie A certainly makes Mertens very happy. According to him, his fellow countryman will be an important player for La Beneamata.
"I am very happy that Romelu Lukaku is in Serie A and feels he will be important for Inter. They can be a great team with him leading the attack line," Lukaku told Tuttomercatoweb after Belgium won 4-0 over San Marino.

Juventus have won Serie A titles for the past eight seasons. Even so, Mertens did not lose hope.
