Liverpool - Xherdan Shaqiri has not yet been played by Juergen Klopp in Liverpool's Premier League matches this season. Does Liverpool still need Shaqiri?

Liverpool has played three matches in the English Premier League 2019/2020. But Shaqiri was never sent down just to sit on a bench.

The Swiss winger only played once when Liverpool faced Manchester City in the Community Shield. He entered as a substitute in the second round.

The situation has prompted Shaqiri to stop due to a longer playing time. The former Bayern Munich player can still leave before 2 September.

Regarding Shaqiri, Juergen Klopp said that the player was in very good condition. The German manager said Shaqiri would have the chance to play.

"Shaq has done a good job, the situation is the same, the start of the season is only four weeks, and this is probably the hardest time for players who haven't played," he said. Klopp on the club's official website.

"In practice, I don't have improvements to make, but that's not it, it doesn't have to show something special."
