Liverpool eyeing Alisson goalkeeper

Liverpool has watched Turkish goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir closely as a long-term reservation for goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool continued to monitor Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, the report added that the keeper had impressed the Reds scouts with his performance against Fenerbahce this weekend.

Cakir ensured that his team was tied in a Turkish Super League match by making eight sensational saves, matching Cakir's record with most of the saves in the match in his career.

Jurgen Klopp's team are looking for long-term bookings for their first goalkeeper Alisson, who is currently absent due to injury.

Cakir is certainly worthy of replacing Brazilian goalkeeper in the Red team, 23-year-old Cakir and first choice goalkeeper Trabzonspor. The 1.91 goalkeeper has made seven appearances for his team this season. (3 leagues, 4 European League qualifications).
Cakir is very suitable to strengthen Liverpool

Turkish TV station Star TV also reported that the Reds had informed Trabzonspor that they would monitor the situation of the goalkeeper in the coming months.

Turkish media also claim that the French Ligue 1 club Bordeaux is also interested in Cakir and is currently worth 14 million pounds (244 billion rupees).

Cakir only played for Timas Turki once and was able to defend his country in European Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Moldova during this international break.

Cakir seems to be the perfect choice for the Reds to consider in the long run, if Cakir can become Turkey's number one goalkeeper in the coming months, the Reds will surely get a very talented future goalkeeper.
