"Many players in the last few months have suffered racial attacks. I also did yesterday. Football is a game that should be enjoyed together and we should not accept any form of discrimination that would embarrass this game," Lukaku wrote on Instagram.
"I hope football federations around the world react strongly to all cases of discrimination."
"Social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook ...) should work better like clubs because every day you will at least see racist comments for people with color."
"We have said this for years and there has been no response. Ladies and gentlemen, this is 2019. Instead of going forward, we have instead backed out and I think as players we need to unite and make statements about this problem to keep this game clean and pleasing to everyone, "Lukaku stated.
