La Liga president tries to persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to return
The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, apparently still regrets the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the summer of 2018. He also hopes that Ronaldo will return to play at LaLiga one day.
During nine years playing at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo managed to prove his quality as one of the best players in football history. His rivalry with Lionel Messi and Barcelona has always been a hot topic of conversation.
"His departure from Real Madrid greatly hurt the Spanish public. If I can choose, then I would prefer a competition that has Ronaldo over those who don't. I certainly hope he will one day return to Spain, "Javier Tebas told Canal 11.
Not only missed Cristiano Ronaldo, Tebas also apparently quite missed the figure of Jose Mourinho. According to him, the presence of Mourinho is a marketing that is suitable for LaLiga as a whole.
"I also want to see Jose Mourinho returning to Spain and handling one of the clubs in LaLiga. His presence will certainly make LaLiga able to do even greater promotions in the future, "added Tebas.
