Kevin De Bruyne Promises to Move to Anderlecht
Kevin De Bruyne has no doubt promised to join Anderlecht after the end of his career at Manchester City. He expressed his desire to join the former team captain nicknamed The Cityzens, Vincent Kompany.
Vincent Kompany decided to strengthen his childhood club, Anderlecht. He joined the Belgian club earlier this summer on a three-season contract.
Kevin De Bruyne and Kompany have won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and three League Cups in Man City. Especially in the four career seasons of two Belgian players under coach Manuel Pellegrini and Pep Guardiola.
"I hope Kompany's career at Anderlecht will be as extraordinary as in Man City, I say give me a place, especially when I finish here," De Bruyne told Sky Sports.
"If he is willing to do it, I'm ready to make Anderlecht the next destination in his career," he said.
De Bruyne was a player imported from Wolfsburg by Man City in 2015. He admitted that Kompany had a big influence on his decision to pursue a career in the Premier League four years ago.
"Vinny tried to convince me to move to Manchester and play with him," he said.
